Working Beekman Street in Saratoga!

Yes, it is true! Myself, and several other artists, set up shop and displayed our talents in the Beekman Street Art District, in Saratoga, in support of the revitalization of that beautiful art district, and at the invitation of that dynamic duo, Mike Bray and Sharon Crute, of Sharon Crute Gallery. They took over the Old Mimosa Gallery location, and are spearheading the effort to breath life back into Beekman Street. From the visitors seen strolling Beekman Street tonight, this area is HOT! Tonight was the first of the Friday Night Art Walks. Come down Friday June 1st for the next monthly Friday Night Art Walk. Too much fun! On Saturday, June 9th. I will be have my fine art photography on display inside Sharon and Mikes gallery.How exciting is that??? An artist reception will be held from 5-8 PM, and is a must do for all my fans! Do come! Eats and drinks and then out to dinner!

Life keeps showing up! Your favorite photographer will be on the indie film set of "Life On the Run," tomorrow , in Troy. This movie is being produced by Dr. Roger Wyatt. He has the chops for sure, along with his film partner - Latisha. Both have worn may hats, including producer, director, writer, artist, book author, and more.

Producer / Director Roger Wyatt and Producer Latisha  teamed up for Saturdays film event in Troy. Cast was  ready and able. It was a joy to watch Roger and Latisha in action.

Roger also was very pleased with the photography documentation of characters that I filmed digitally, and presented to him, of that day, and spoke of working together again.

See you all Wednesday, 6:30,  at Samuels. Suzie has been asked to speak of her ever evolving career,to the  Rexford Womens Club . Eats and hellos will be 6:30 - 7:30, then artist Sue will speak. Peaceful Acres Horses - rescue

Took some pics at Peaceful Acres last weekend. Nanci could really use volunteers to help care for the horses, and sponsors to feed the horses. Every little donation counts. Call her to make appt. It's a great spot and beautiful location.

Gregg Allman, Alison Krauss, Gordon Lightfoot, ZZ Top, Van Morrison, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings...

Just bought the new CD by Gregg Allman - Low Country Blues. I admire what his voice can do - always have. Same goes for Alison Krauss. Find her on U-tube with Jerry Douglas singing "Going to Carolina,"  or "Lucky Man." All the other band members and musicians above have the same traits - voices that are pure magic, and a style to match. No imitations. Pure originals. Ya can't touch this.  Just go listen to them, and make sure you have a good sound system.
