What a great surprise to find Sue's photographs in my favorite hangout. Horses,cowboys, and Navajo Codetalkers are adorning the walls of Samuel's Coffeeshop at 258 Alplaus Ave in Alplaus N.Y. These photos make you stop and look deeply at the details. They make you anticipate the next image, but reluctant to leave the one you are looking at.
You are encouraged to come to Samuel's, order a snack or coffee, and walk along the wall where Sue's pictures are displayed. But walk slowly, and immerse yourself in these pictures. If there are people sitting at the tables, chat with them (everyone in Samuel's is friendly-Amelia and Brittany don't allow visitors to be grumpy!)
This is the first time I have experienced Sue's work, and I will certainly be on the lookout for further shows, and a frequent visitor to her website. I was lucky enough to meet Sue in Samuel's today, and especially enjoyed looking at the photos with her guidance, to understand what she was trying to show her viewers. In every case, it worked, and she was able to make clear just what she saw of value in the subject.

Bravo!

Sue, It was a treat to meet you in Tombstone last month and the photos showed a true artists eye. It is easy to see why you win awards for your work.

Thanks for sharing my dad's pictures. He is 85 yrs. old! These pictures mean a lot to me. We don't have recent pictures of him. Yours are awesome!
